Got a call from some company named Beneficial asking about lifestyle stuff. Honestly, just block them and move on, no point wasting time!

This number, along with several others, has been ringing me nonstop for the past few months. It’s from a company called Beneficial Opinions ([#]beneficialopinions[###]/). I’ve told them to take me off their list every single time they phone (sometimes up to 4 times a day) but nothing changes. I even tried ringing them back, but it just says there’s a technical problem and they can’t pick up. They do mention I can call 0161 360 0000 to get removed, which I’ve done now. Hoping this sort of sorts it. If not, I’ll have to report them to the TPS.

They've rung me three times over the past couple of days. After reading the comments on this thread, I've decided to block the number.

By mistake, I recently received a phone call from this number. It took a moment for an Indian lady with broken English to finally speak, which led me to suspect it was an automated dialer. She claimed to be calling from Beneficial, saying that I had participated in an online survey and she needed me to answer additional questions in order to prevent unwanted calls. The irony was not lost on me, so I promptly ended the call. I have never heard of Beneficial nor have I ever filled out any online surveys. It seems more likely that my details have been sold by a company I have dealt with.

I recently received a call from this number. The lady claimed that she was calling in regards to a Virgin Media survey that I supposedly filled out online (which I highly doubt!). She insisted that I answer a few more questions, promising it would only take a few minutes. However, I firmly declined, stating that I do not engage in phone conversations with strangers asking personal questions. As a result, I promptly ended the call.

I got a call on my phone from someone asking for a Paul Williams. This isn't the first time - loads of different numbers have been ringing asking for him, but he’s not connected to my number at all. I told the caller, who seemed to be calling from Leeds, that I’d be blocking their number, but my block list is full at 100. So now I just save them as spam under contacts or something similar. One of the calls was actually a survey for Paul Williams, and they started firing questions at me. I asked them why they thought I’d answer when they were looking for him, then ended the call.
