At first, there was a male robot voice talking about problems with my NINO and telling me to press 1 for more info. When I did, a man spoke with clear English but an Asian accent, saying he was some kind of crime officer. He claimed they were going to block my NINO and freeze all my bank accounts because I was involved in a crime. I asked him to explain what crime I'd supposedly committed and wanted to know his details, but instead he got angry and started threatening me with punishments. I told him to send all the paperwork by post and then I ended the call.

Some bloke claimed he was ringing from a benefits agency. Strange thing is, he never gave the actual name of the company. If it was legit, surely you could find their info somewhere online. Sounds like just another person trying to get your personal info.

Got a call from this number at about 8:30 in the morning. The person wanted to talk to me, so I said, “At 8:30 in the morning? No thanks, sod off!” Then the caller just ended the call.

I received a phone call from someone purporting to be a BT engineer, insisting that I must access the internet via my laptop - apparently my phone or iPad wouldn't do. Once I confronted him about the situation, he suddenly provided a BT account number that I recognised as wrong. Oddly enough, as soon as I brought this to his attention, he abruptly hung up. Quite suspicious if you ask me!

Got a call from some Indian SWAT claiming to be from Perfect Benefits. Looks like they've got old info or something, coz they kept asking for my postcode and new address. I asked them where their company is located and what their postcode was. They said they weren’t allowed to give it to me and then just hung up. If you want my postcode, why can't you give yours? Sounds like just another scammer trying to steal info.

A guy with an Asian accent called me and politely used my name, said he was from some company named Perfect Benefits doing a quick survey that would only take a couple minutes. I told him I don’t share any info with people I don’t know and he just hung up on me. Seems like they were fishing for personal info to steal identities or something.
