I got a call from a Leeds number on my mobile, but my signal was really weak so he probably couldn’t catch what I was saying. I could definitely hear loads of noise in the background - sounded like it was coming from one of those call centres. I just ended up hanging up.

Got a call from some muppet who already knew my name and was yakking on about saving me loads on my mobile deal, which I’d only just renewed like three weeks ago. Told him straight away under GDPR I wanted to know where he got my details from, but instead of answering he just laughed it off. I then mentioned that my phone keeps records of all calls and I’d be reporting him with his number, and he just cut me off sharpish.
