These con artists just won’t quit! They first began pestering me with their nonsense back on 05/03/2021 and even today they’ve called me like 15 times! Fortunately, my Truecall device blocks them so my phone doesn’t even buzz, but it’s still a pain knowing they keep trying over and over. Just recently, on 25/02/2021, they gave it another go and called not once, but twice.

I received a call from 01134800139 yesterday, on the 8th of February, but unfortunately, I missed it. Today, I had two missed calls from 01642919594, both of which I chose not to pick up. These calls came through on my mobile device (which isn’t a smartphone, mind you). It’s quite unusual, as I typically don’t use this number very much; I only had it switched on for a few days due to some family matters. I don’t recognise anyone from the locales related to these calls. I’m left pondering if there's a method to block such calls on this mobile of mine... I must admit, I’m no tech whiz and generally prefer using my landline where blocking is a straightforward process. Cheers for any guidance!

I received a call from someone who didn't say a word when I picked up, even though my caller ID was visible. When I tried to ring them back with my ID, they promptly ended the call. However, when I called without revealing my number, they suddenly engaged and claimed I had enquired about a funeral plan. How on earth could they possibly know that information if they didn't even know who I was? It's definitely a financial scam!

I always ignore calls from numbers that aren’t saved in my phone, unless I’m expecting someone specific to ring me. Loads of these random calls seem to be from scammers. The ones coming from places like Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Bradford and Finsbury are especially dodgy - my mates in intelligence reckon they’re linked to fundraising for terror groups. Honestly, I wish phone companies would add a way to report these numbers properly and block them. That’d probably cut down on most of this rubbish, maybe like 80% less hassle.

i get calls from this number like all day long, seriously, it rings multiple times every single day!

This number rang me twice, first late on Friday 21st May around 4.40pm, then again this afternoon at about 3.20pm on Wednesday 26th. I picked up both calls, but they just dropped it after a few seconds each time. Felt really unsettling, especially since i’m over 80 and have a disability. Not a nice thing to deal with at all.

no clue who keeps ringing me but its getting really annoying getting these calls every single day. you’d think with all the tech we’ve got, there’d be a proper way to stop them. i try blocking the number but they just change one number and call again. i’m battling cancer and undergoing treatment at the moment, so these early morning calls, starting about 7am, are really unwelcome and upsetting.
