Just got a call on my landline, it was an automated message. Living alone, it really upset me. Can someone make them stop ringing? The number that showed up was 0113 4780256.

I live in Norfolk and hardly ever get random calls. Today, a strange number rang me, so I just said hello. Then, a weird electronic male voice replied with "I'm sorry" and immediately hung up!

I wasn’t in when they called, and they didn’t bother to leave any message. I’ve gone ahead and reported it to BT’s spam line at https://www.bt.com/consumer/edw/scams/ just to be on the safe side.

Got a call from an automated guy apologising then the line just dropped. Pretty sure it’s a spam call and now I’m bracing for a bunch more calls since I picked up and responded.

like others said, it was dead quiet at first then i heard a robot voice say sorry before they just hung up on me. they rang a number i hardly ever get calls on and i can’t find it listed anywhere, so i’m pretty sure it’s a spam call. i’m actually kinda excited to prank them if they ring me again *evil chuckle*

I picked up and all I got was this dead silence, then suddenly a robot voice blurted out "sorry". Sort of like one of those recorded calls, you know? Bit weird.

First it sounded like an automated message, then a person came on saying sorry.

I got a call from this guy Chris, sounded Indian, saying he was from Sky Assured - not Sky TV - trying to get me to renew insurance for my TV and equipment. I said it’s all sorted with my home insurance, but he kept insisting it wasn’t. Then I told him I ain’t got a telly at all, and he just cut off. This is like the fourth time I’ve had calls from different numbers in just one day.
