They rang me, I answered, but nobody was there.

I just had a rather dodgy call from someone with a foreign accent claiming to be from EE, saying they were keen to thank me for my loyalty with a whopping 40% off. The only bit that doesn’t add up is that I don’t even have an account with them! So, I’ve promptly decided to block that number. Best not to take the bait!

Somebody rang, said they were calling from EE but as soon as I told them I’d just got a new phone, they dropped the call straight away.

Some bloke rang saying he was from EE, my mobile company. When I said EE ain't mine and asked where he even got my digits, he started claiming he's having an affair with my missus and she gave him my number. I'm single, so yeah, definitely a dodgy call or just a rubbish salesman being weird.

I got a call from someone speaking with a thick accent who said they were from Currys PC World. They wanted to sign me up for a new phone contract. As soon as I told them I didn’t think the call was genuine, they just ended the call straight away.

Received a call claiming to be from Vodafone's 'promotions team' offering an upgrade on my contract. When I asked where they got my phone number from, they dodged the question and just kept repeating the same spiel. Then they said I could actually get the offer on any network, but when I questioned how that was even possible, they just said "Have a good day" and disconnected the call. Quite dodgy if you ask me.
