I received a phone call yesterday but didn't answer it since the number was unfamiliar. I came across this site today for a little investigation. It appears to be just another spammer, so I won't be returning the call.

Received a trio of calls last night, and just when I thought it was over, there came another from a similar number! Thankfully, my phone's spam filter did its job magnificently and nixed them all.

A bloke with an Indian accent called saying he was from Carphone Warehouse offering some special deal and asked what phone I had. I told him I actually work at Carphone Warehouse and we don’t do cold calls like that. I was feeding my baby at the time, so I just said I couldn’t talk and hung up. He rang back a bit later and started swearing at me when I answered. After blocking that number, he phoned again from another Leeds area code and started swearing once more. I muted the call and got on with feeding my baby. He's been ringing non-stop from different Leeds numbers since.

Picked up the phone and they didn’t say who they were but immediately started asking about what phone I use and who my provider is. I just asked them to identify themselves and what they wanted, then they hung up.

The caller was fishing for personal details like my name, address, and email. I decided to feed him some nonsense instead, and he swiftly ended the call when he figured out I was on to him.
