I received a rather perplexing phone call this morning, right at the start of the week. On the line was a chap with an accent that seemed to suggest he was from Asia. He claimed I was on the verge of being prosecuted for tax evasion or some kind of fraud linked to income tax. Quite the surprise, I must say! I couldn’t help but chuckle and informed him he was quite mistaken. Sounds to me like a sneaky ploy to fish for my banking info, but I've no inkling how he thought that would play out.
