Somebody rang me saying they're from SKY, saying my router got hacked or something. Quiet calls - honestly, over 90% of these silent calls are dodgy ones, and this one was no different! Annoying lady with a thick Asian accent called asking for whoever handles our internet. Suspecting it was one of those fake security scams, i interrupted her and said I’m really fed up with these kinds of scams, have got more important things to deal with, then just hung up!

Someone rang me claiming to be from Sky and said they were going to get me arrested. They used loads of horrible swear words and spoke to me really rudely. I’m sure it wasn’t really Sky on the line.

They said it was bank security about my card having 2 withdrawals of £300 and £450, but they never said which bank or card or anything. Total scam, 100% fake.

Someone called my 95 year old mum saying Amazon took thousands from her bank or that she owed them (cant remember exactly). They told her to call the bank. She hung up straight away. She still gets loads of calls like this and even tho she knows they’re scams, it’s really stressful for her.

Got a call from what said it was a credit monitoring company, telling me my card had some dodgy charges - like £1100 sent abroad and £300 spent on Amazon. Total scam though, the message was automated and the voice was some posh lady, which made it all sound a bit dodgy.

This morning I got a call from a woman with a robotic voice claiming she was from my bank’s fraud department. She said there were two dodgy payments on my account - one £300 at Amazon and another £1000 charge. Press 1 to cancel them, 2 to talk to an agent. I didn’t trust it and just ended the call.
