A young woman named Amy rang me on my mobile just before 11am. She seemed to know my name and that I’m under 70 and own a house. She said she was from Free Green Solutions, offering renewable energy deals. I told her I wasn’t interested unless it was entirely free of charge. She tried to say there’s no initial cost or installation fees, but I quickly cut her off saying I wouldn’t want anything that involved any payment at all. When I asked her to remove my number from their list, she ended the call with a sharp “tsk”. Now I’ve blocked her number on my phone.
