Got a call yesterday trying to sell me a "better" life insurance offer. Told them loads of nonsense just to see what they’d do. Then they asked for my bank sort code and account number to supposedly send the policy details. I said I'd look over it first when it arrives, then ring back if I’m interested. They insisted they couldn't send anything without my bank info. After nearly an hour and a half of that I just ended the call. Seriously, don’t hand out your personal info to these call centres.

My wife got a call from a woman claiming to be Sarah, saying we had some insurance with their company. She started asking for my wife’s bank info but luckily I came in just then and ended the call. I’m planning to report this unwanted call and make sure something’s done about it.

This number rang me on my home phone and claimed to be the insurance agent who arranged my house insurance the year before, mentioning some life and funeral plan cover. Thing is, I never dealt with any insurance agent and definitely don’t want the cover they spoke of, which is from a completely different firm than mine. I told them to remove all my info from their records, now just waiting to see what happens!!!

Got a call from this number a few times last week, about four I think. Could hear voices, but no one actually said a word. Tried reporting it to the TPS but they weren’t bothered unless you can give them the company’s name. Bit tricky when the muppets on the other end don’t even bother talking!

Honestly, that’s not right at all since I’ve been with the same insurance company for years now and haven’t switched.
