Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, so I picked up and just left the phone down without saying a word. A woman started jabbering away with some sort of rehearsed spiel, but she gave up and ended the call after about eight seconds of me keeping quiet. The number had an annoyingly simple and neat pattern, which made me pretty sure it’s some sort of scam. If they ring back, I’ll just ignore them completely.
