I was under the impression that annoying calls were being clamped down on with heavy penalties, especially if they come from the UK. Got loads of calls these past few days, just answered this morning and said hello, the person on t’other end just swore at me then slammed the phone down - lovely. Before that they were all about boiler repairs or servicing.

Over the past four days, they've rung me five times. Each time they want to talk to some Mr (insert random name) but I'm actually Mrs something. After the first call where I told them they had the wrong person, I stopped picking up, but the calls keep coming!

Upon picking up the call, I heard a beep followed by someone saying farewell. Quite peculiar, really!
