I picked up the phone and was greeted by what appeared to be a pre-recorded message, but the background music was blaring so much that I couldn't make out what was being said. It was all rather frustrating, so I decided to hang up and promptly blocked the number.

I recently received a call from this number, and they addressed me by my name, which made me wonder if it was something related to the hospital. However, they started going on about housing repairs. I mentioned I live in a council flat and inquired if there were any outstanding issues needing attention, to which I replied there were none. The caller had a distinct accent that sounded Indian or Pakistani, so I’d advise keeping your wits about you!

I picked up a call from this number, and the chap on the other end was inquiring about a Mrs. Brazil - you know the sort of unsolicited call they make. When I informed him that there was no one by that name here, he proceeded to question if I was the property owner, to which I replied in the affirmative. He then launched into a long spiel about some so-called "government boiler initiative." I found myself zoning out, muttering “blah, blah, blah” just to cut through his monotone. Surprisingly, he had the audacity to inform me, "You are aware that you're footing the bill for this call, aren't you?" At that point, I promptly ended the call. I’ve made the decision to report this to my mobile service provider and OFCOM, and I will be cancelling my phone contract forthwith.

Someone dialed my landline, mentioned my name, and then abruptly disconnected. How do they manage to get that sort of information?

I received a call on my mobile from this number, and as soon as I greeted them, they abruptly hung up. Quite rude, if you ask me!

I had an unexpected call from this number just a moment ago. When I picked up, the person on the line simply greeted me with a "hello" before abruptly hanging up. Honestly, this sort of behaviour is rather poor, and it wouldn’t hurt for them to learn a bit about common courtesy.
