Got a call from some bloke named Oliver about my trading accounts. Sounded dodgy straight away, especially since I’d just been fiddling with some shares online a couple of days back. Ended the call quick. Bit unsettling, but just a heads up to watch out.

I got a call from a number and the person started with "This is about your trading account," and then asked if I recalled opening a trading account. I could tell they were about to try and get money or personal info out of me. Total scam, best to just ignore it and not give anything away.

Got a call claiming my trading account was frozen, which it definitely isn’t. The person said they were from some regulator called “London Markets Company” or something like that. Total nonsense, I told her straight away. She just said “have a nice day” and hung up.

BEWARE OF SCAMS. I got a call from a guy with a strong eastern accent, and you could hear a call centre in the background. He said his name was Oliver and asked if I’d accessed my WFT Online trading account - which I don’t even have! When I told him that every time I tried logging in it said I’m bankrupt and banned from managing a company, he seemed shocked and told me to try again. I told him I had to get some papers ready for a fraud trial hearing this afternoon, and he said no worries, he'd ring back tomorrow. This one could be quite entertaining.

Had a really bad experience with this caller, sounded quite threatening. They kept talking about some "online trading account" I supposedly had, but I have no such thing. I told them straight up they had no right to ring me, and that I’d be reporting them to the ICO, then I ended the call. Right after, the same lady, who had a Russian accent, rang back and told me I wasn’t allowed to hang up or report them. Proper unpleasant situation.

Really rude and quite scary. They said something about my "online trading account," which is total rubbish because I don't have one. I told them flat out they had no right to ring me, warned that I'd report them to the data protection folks, and then I ended the call. Then, weirdly, the same lady with a Russian accent phoned straight back and said I wasn't allowed to hang up or report them. What a bizarre experience!

Got a really annoying call from someone claiming I signed up for some service I never did. I don’t even use Facebook, which is where they said I supposedly registered. Sounded like a total phishing scam to me. They kept calling over and over, and whenever I tried to end the call, they wouldn’t let me hang up. Eventually I just had to block the number because it was relentless.

It took him a bit to reply, then the bloke asked straight away for me by name. He started talking about me signing up for some "Financial Markets" thing - totally rubbish. Claimed he found my details from a Facebook sign-up, which is just not right. He was pretty insistent, which made me suspicious. Figured it was a dodgy call, so I just ended it. Definitely one to steer clear of.

Got a call quite early at about 8:15 am, and the guy asked if I was (my first name). I answered yes, but then I asked who it was and why they were ringing so bloody early, and just like that, he dropped the line. It’s annoying how these people already know our names.

Took ages for them to answer, and when they did, the voice was really hard to make out. They said something about money markets or something similar. Pretty sure it was some sort of scam, so I just ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming I’d filed a complaint about a financial deal - absolute nonsense. I called them out right away, told them they were trying to scam me. She got proper offended and threatened to report me! As if that’s gonna happen. She was pretty dodgy and wouldn’t come clean about what she wanted, probably just after my bank info. So I just hung up. The number was from Leeds, but I reckon it was just routed through some call centre there. No way she was actually calling from Leeds or even somewhere else in the UK.

Got a call claiming I’d lodged a complaint about some financial transaction - absolute nonsense. I called her bluff and said she was running a scam, which clearly didn’t sit well with her. She threatened to report me or something, like that’s going to happen! She wasn’t upfront at all, probably trying to get my bank info or something. Said she was with WCF or WFT but couldn’t explain what that stood for. In the end, I just hung up on her.

Watch out for WFT Global /world, they’re definitely a scam. If anyone has more details, please share them here. Some names linked to this are Damian Lawrence (I’ve got a pic of him), Jason Douglas, Marcus, Alliott Wyn, Roy Barlow and quite a few others. Stay careful!

They ring me from some new Leeds number each day, always changing the extension. Every day I’m having to block a different one. If only I knew where they were or had a number to call back, I swear I’d give them a proper dressing down for all the hassle they’ve caused over the past couple of weeks. Absolute bloody nuisances.

A bloke called John rang me up, using my first name right away. When I asked him who he was and which firm he was with, he just repeated his name and said something about Wells Fargo. It made me think of PayPal for some reason, but I didn't say anything out loud. PayPal never phones me, so that was suspicious. He said he wanted to “help” me with something, but his accent was so thick I struggled to understand him, so I just ended the call. The fella didn’t sound angry or threatening, but it was clear he was trying to keep me talking longer.

Got a call from some dodgy outfit saying I asked for details on financial markets. When I told them to take me off their list, they wouldn’t quit, kept pushing and got pretty rude. Proper annoying and unprofessional.

I got a call from someone saying they were with a charity and wanted a donation. I told them no and hung up. It’s not that I don’t want to give, but I’m just wary of doing it over the phone or online, sounds dodgy to me. I usually prefer to give to charities around here in person.

Got a dodgy call from someone saying they were in London, but when I pointed out my phone was showing a Leeds number, 0113, they couldn’t give a proper answer. Then the line just cut off. About 10 minutes later, another call came through from a different Leeds number, 0113 3668279, asking for my financial info again. Definitely a scam.
