Got a call earlier claiming my broadband would be cut off in a few hours because of some router issue, and that I needed to press option 1 to get patched through to my internet company. I just hung up, didn’t trust it at all. I was a bit amazed to see no one else mentioning this here, but when I looked it up, it’s a common scam targeting Virgin users. Better to be safe than sorry, folks.
