Got a call earlier from someone pretending to sell life insurance. The way they talked was weird, like "you don’t sound your age, bet you look good for it too" - felt super fake. It didn’t take long for me to figure out that it was a scam. Then they tried to scare me with some nonsense about my insurance not paying if I lived past 65. Plus, they mixed up some facts which made it even more obvious. When I said I’d ring my actual insurance provider, they got all pushy, asking "When?" I wasn’t giving any answers after that, and they quickly lost all their friendly vibe.

I got a call from someone looking for someone else, and when I told them that wasn’t me, they asked for my name to fix their info. They said they were from ‘Rate my Cover’ and wanted to chat about my life insurance. Pretty sure it was an Indian call centre.
