I received a call purporting to be from the Debt Advice Foundation. When I started probing about the discrepancies between their phone number and what’s listed on the website, they became quite irate. As I’m not in debt myself, it was evident this was nothing more than a scam.

I've received numerous calls from this number lately, yet they seem to hang up without leaving a voicemail. Quite puzzling, if you ask me!

Honestly, do these folks not take a hint? They just keep calling without a word, and it’s clearly some dodgy scheme to fleece unsuspecting victims. I worry especially for the elderly; they seem to target those who might be a bit naive. It’s absolutely appalling how little regard these scammers have for the damage they cause to others.
