They said they were from the Debt Advice Foundation. But when I asked why their numbers didn’t match what’s on the official site, they got all defensive. I’m not in debt, so I immediately knew it was dodgy.

These folks just keep calling non stop, they never quit. They never actually talk, probably because it’s a scam trying to get cash from you. If you’re daft enough to share your info, that’s on you. I’m mostly worried about the elderly getting caught out, ’cause these scammers don’t care who they hurt to make a quick buck.
