They claimed my 36-month warranty on my appliances was over, but I know I’ve only had them for 24 months. What really got me was they had all my info already! Definitely gave me the creeps, sounded like a scam to me.

I got a call from someone called Cooper claiming to be from Assurance and Save Ltd, trying to sell me an extension on my kitchen appliance warranty. Thing is, I don't have any warranty to begin with, so there's no way to extend it. Feels like a total scam to me. Plus, the spiel sounded really familiar, like I've heard it somewhere else already.

Got a call from this number earlier and the person on the other end already knew my name, saying they were from some appliance warranty firm. I ended the call straight away and made sure to block it. After a bit of digging, turns out this number’s linked to a warranty scam - watch out and don’t fall for it!

Rang me again for the second consecutive day after I’d brushed them off the previous time. They appeared quite clued up about my appliances insurance and then had the cheek to say they could provide a discount due to my claim-free status! I told them to proceed with reducing their fees… but that still didn’t suffice for them. They were keen to have me verify the makes and models of my appliances, which raised my suspicions that they were gearing up to request even further details. I decided it was best to end the conversation there.

I've had a ring from this number previously, and I’m pretty sure it’s one of those dodgy insurance scams. Just ended the call straight away!
