I've noticed that the same lady from Carphone Warehouse keeps ringing me up, but she does so from various different numbers. It’s quite puzzling!

Since the number wasn’t saved in my contacts, i just ignored the call and then blocked it straight away.

I had quite the bewildering experience recently with someone claiming to represent Currys Mobile. She mentioned that Carphone Warehouse, their associated brand, would typically handle contractual phones rather than Currys. When I queried her about this, she answered that the companies had recently merged. I asked for the date of this merger, and her response was a surprising “just last week.” Goodness me! It seemed she assumed I would buy into her tale without question. Her accent sounded rather like an Indian impersonating British - it all felt very dodgy indeed. Definitely a scam!
