I got a call from someone claiming to be linked with CoinMarket, who said they were working with a firm called BitcoinUp. They told me the company lost its licence and was shutting down all investor accounts, so they needed to give me my investment money back. What really caught my attention was that even though I only put in around $400 a few months ago, they claimed my account was now worth more than $42,000. It all sounded pretty dodgy, so I decided not to follow up on it at all.
