We got a dodgy application from someone pretending to be a different company trying to place an order, and they included this phone number on the form. If we hadn’t been careful, we might have sent the stuff and never got paid. Luckily, the whole thing looked super fishy from the start.

At 12:29 this afternoon, I got a call from this number but I didn't pick up.

I got a message from MAX RECOVERY using the number 01133281306 saying if I didn’t ring them, they'd send enforcement to seize my stuff. But when I tried calling, the number was dead. I checked the FCA site and it shows a genuine business with the same name, but the contact details were different. The number that called me is almost the same as a dodgy one the FCA has marked as a scam, just a couple of digits off. From what I’ve found and others saying the same, I’d say it’s definitely a scam.

This bloke claimed to be from max enforcement and said he was recording our chat. I told him I was recording too, for fraud reasons. He got proper angry, shouting at me before just hanging up. I’m sure I don’t owe anything that would get them coming after me, so this has to be a scam. He was really nasty when I mentioned the police were involved.

Just received a call from 01133281306, claiming to be from some enforcement officer. The chap insisted I owed money, but the truth is, I haven’t missed a single payment! When I mentioned I planned to record our conversation, he got rather unpleasant and suddenly cut me off. Quite the cheek, isn’t it?
