I've received numerous calls from this number recently, claiming that HRM Customs is planning to file a lawsuit against us. They even left a voicemail during their last attempt. Quite concerning, to say the least!

I received a voicemail claiming that there was a court case lodged against me and that I should return their call as they were representatives of HMRC. I rang them back, and they assured me that they would return my call shortly. Sure enough, a gentleman phoned me back, insisting that I was in arrears of over a thousand pounds and mentioned having sent me a letter, which I categorically hadn’t received. When I probed them for details about the alleged debt, rather than providing clarity, they resorted to threats of police involvement, potential arrest, and even said my property could be seized. I pointedly told him that this was a scam, yet he staunchly denied it, insisting I was mistaken. Eventually, I decided enough was enough, hung up, and blocked their number.

I've had a barrage of seven messages claiming that HMRC is pursuing a lawsuit against me, urging me to ring 01133281205 right away for details about the case. Quite worrying, to say the least!

I received an utterly bizarre phone call yesterday, where the caller insisted that I owed them £1190. I challenged him with a slew of questions which left him completely flustered and unable to respond! He threatened me, claiming that if I didn't cough up the cash, I would face court action and bailiffs at my door ready to cart me off! However, I remained firm and refused to part with a penny! Stood my ground and didn't buckle!

My elderly parents, both in their 80s, received alarming threats regarding court action and bailiffs, just like many others have reported. It appears that this despicable trend is intentionally aimed at vulnerable older folks, banking on fear to extract card payments over the phone. There are some truly unscrupulous individuals out there; stay vigilant, everyone!

I've had a total of seven missed calls from this number, each one threatening that legal actions are underway against me and that I need to call back straight away or face arrest. I've opted not to return their call, particularly since I've only just dealt with HMRC after quitting my job earlier this year, so I'm quite certain this isn't a legitimate call from them.

Today, my mother received a phone call from this number claiming to be from HMRC, threatening court action against her. After making their point, they abruptly ended the call, which leads me to believe it was likely an automated message.

This appears to be a bit dodgy, if you ask me.

In the past week, I've been inundated with calls from this particular number. I just hang up each time, yet they keep pestering me. At 75 years old, I can’t help but feel these calls are specifically targeting the elderly. I've set up a personal scam file with BT to tackle this issue. Whenever I hang up on these nuisances, I just dial 1572, and the number gets logged in my file for further action. What a great solution!

I had a rather alarming phone call from this number claiming there’s some sort of legal action against me concerning unpaid taxes. They even left a voicemail urging me to get in touch. When I rang back, a chap named Paul at the switchboard assured me someone would be in touch. Eventually, I spoke with a bloke called Anthony Hall, who ominously informed me that a warrant for my arrest was on the table over an alleged debt of £1350, which I was supposed to pay without delay. I told him to send over a proper bill for my records, but the strangest part? He already had my postcode. Quite dubious, if you ask me!

This number contacted my mother, claiming to be from HMRC and alleging that she had an outstanding tax balance. They ominously warned her that someone would be dispatched to arrest her, asserting that criminal proceedings had been initiated against her for a purported debt of £4500, demanding an immediate payment of £2000 over the phone. It was alarming how well they seemed to understand my mother's personal situation; it appears that someone must be either selling or has unlawfully accessed personal data to facilitate this scam. Fortunately, my 77-year-old mother, despite her annoyance and distress from such baseless threats, remained resolute and did not give in. Our accountant confirmed this was indeed a scam, and the police have been informed! Those responsible deserve the harshest penalties - they should be locked away for their disgraceful actions. I sincerely hope they try calling me next; I'd be more than ready for them!

My mother just received a call from someone claiming to be from the Inland Revenue, insisting that she owes a sum of £999. They threatened to freeze her bank account or even send someone to collect the money unless she paid up with iTunes vouchers. This particular individual went by the name Raoul, but when I tried to call back, the line went dead. What a cheek!

I was bombarded with four messages one fine morning, and when I finally picked up the phone, I was met with the same pre-recorded spiel informing me that HMRC was about to take legal action against me.
