Got hit with about 30 blocked calls all in a single day, then almost the same amount, around 25, the very next day. It’s obviously a scam to check what info they already got and try to trick you into giving more so they can nick your identity. Never say your real name or any personal stuff!

Just dont pick up calls from numbers you dont recognise. If its important, they’ll prob leave a voicemail anyway. Its not hard to get and it saves you loads of hassle and time. Seriously, people, lets be a bit smarter about this!

Got a call from 01132667623 at like 9.54am on 8th Sept 2020. The bloke sounded Asian but when I said I couldn’t hear him properly, he just ended the call. Seems dodgy, maybe a scam?

Got a call from an Asian lady claiming she was from UK CHOICE. Said she just wanted to ask a quick survey question, said it’d only take a minute and I could then hang up. Didn’t stick around though, figured it was a scam to mess with phones. Blocked the number now, but looks like they’ve got loads of different ones - had loads of calls from 0113 numbers all week.

Same here, keeps happening with some Indian accent saying they're from UK Choice. The caller ID shows Leeds, but I bet they’re just forwarding the call from India. I block them every time, but they seem to have loads of numbers. What’s creepy is this time they repeated an old address of mine. Does Ofcom even care about stuff like this? Do they bother checking sites like this?
