Somebody rang saying they were from O2 support and kept going on about getting me to install some money transfer app to "make up" for O2 messing up. I said no thanks, and they actually got proper nasty about it. Honestly, such rude scum from abroad. Best steer clear of these lot!

I got a few missed calls from 0113 322 0992, one on Sunday morning at 7.16 which I found really odd - who rings that early unless it’s something urgent or arranged beforehand? The same number also tried me around 4.48 pm the day before on Saturday. They didn’t leave any voicemail either. Pretty sure this is some dodgy scam or fraud going on.

So this bloke says he's from Sky Mobile, right? But honestly, it's the same old Indian accent struggling with English - total rubbish. Get a grip, you muppets!

Just a heads up, if this number rings you, it’s a total scam. They claim to be from Microsoft in Leeds and try to trick you into giving them control of your computer to steal your bank info and card details. Don’t fall for it! Make sure you report them to BT and Action Fraud - they really should be shut down. These scammers won’t take no for an answer and will keep ringing you over and over. They’re basically Asian call centre folks running this scam. Stay safe!

Over the past couple of days, I got phoned three times by someone claiming to be from Microsoft in Reading. When I mentioned I couldn't turn my computer on, she started talking about my licence being at risk, even though I don’t have one. Then today, I had another call from her. I said my computer was in the middle of an update, but she insisted I turn it off and restart it. I told her there was no way I would do that because the update was showing 50 minutes left. When I asked if she was going to hang up, she got rude and said, “ARE YOU WASTING MY TIME?” Quite the cheek!

Got a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft about an issue with my account. When I asked for more info, they passed me to a ‘manager’ who kept throwing license numbers at me, trying to convince me. I told them if they were legit, they’d send me an email instead. They didn’t want to do that, so I told them I didn’t trust it and hung up.

They hung up as soon as I didn’t pick up and never left any message. No clue why they bothered calling me in the first place and honestly, I’m not fussed about chasing it up. I wonder if the caller's social worker is aware they’re making these calls?

i got a call about my computer being hacked or something. i told them i wasn’t interested and ended the call, but they rang me right back immediately. the woman sounded really pushy and when i mentioned i only own a netbook, she insisted on sending someone round to my place. i said no, i needed time to figure it out and mentioned i could take it to a local repair shop, but she kept saying not to, that only a microsoft technician should handle it. i refused again. also, she couldn’t even get my surname right, which just made me feel more anxious.
