Got a call on my mobile, but unfortunately, there's usually no reception at my place. So it's a shame these annoying callers can't actually talk to me! Instead, I end up with a text that includes a landline number but says no message was left. I've blocked that number on my phone now. If some pest calls my landline, I just leave the answerphone on. All I ever get is crackling noise before the caller just hangs up. If it was important, they’d leave a message, right? I'm absolutely fed up with these nuisance calls, and I thought there were hefty fines for this stuff. Someone really needs to sort this mess out. My mobile is jam-packed with blocked numbers already.

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent who said his name was Adam and that he was ringing from Assured Pensions. I cut him off straight away and told him I wasn't interested. Even after I put the phone down, I could still catch him babbling away.

I picked up and there was a woman on the line with a strange accent, asking to speak to me by name - though she kept mispronouncing it. I could hear what sounded like a call centre in the background. After that, I just hung up straight away, felt dodgy for sure.

They keep ringing about some changes to my pension, but my pension isn’t even with them, so I’ve got no reason to chat. I told them to take me off their list because they were calling me like two or three times every day.
