Once more, I find myself harassed by a nuisance caller who simply won’t take the hint.

If you get a call about pension rule changes coming in from April 2015, chances are it’s not legit. The Government is launching a new unit called Pension Wise soon, which will offer free and unbiased guidance (not actual advice) for people with defined contribution pensions aged 55 or older. You’ll be able to arrange a free session with them to talk over your choices. So, if someone rings you unsolicited about this, it’s very likely a scam, and you should just ignore it! - caller labelled as Scam

I've been getting calls from this number twice daily for a fortnight now. It's quite infuriating, to be honest! I'd be alright with it if they actually spoke when I pick up, but instead, they just hang up. It's really vexing, to say the least.

I picked up the phone nice and polite, told the guy I wasn’t interested and then he got all nasty and rude on me. I wasn’t gonna let that slide, so I gave him a taste of his own medicine! 😂 Honestly, just don’t bother answering. If it really matters, they’ll leave you a voicemail. - caller: Andrew

So I got a call supposedly about some new government stuff with work and private pensions. When they asked me about my pension, I straight up said, "If you’ve got my info and are ringing about this, you should already know what my pension is." That was the end of the chat - they just cut me off. Pretty obvious pension scam to me.

This 0113 320 9606 number keeps ringing me nonstop. Just got a new mobile that lets me block numbers, so I’ve done that, but honestly, it doesn’t really fix the annoyance. It’s proper frustrating. Hopefully, the authorities can put a stop to these types of calls soon. Sounds like it’s some sort of insurance or PPI outfit behind it.

Got a call off some bloke trying to push pension plans on me. He didn't want to say his name at first, but then he told me he was Andrew Williams from Assured Pensions. Total pain in the neck. I told him I was recording the call and would report it if needed. - caller said he was Andrew.

Got two calls from this number today. Picked up the second time and it turned out to be one of those dodgy pension scams. I’m actually in the business myself, so I can tell it’s a fraud. Best to steer clear of these people!

I haven’t a clue who's been ringing my mobile or how they managed to get hold of my number. Fingers crossed that with the government introducing fresh legislation, we'll see some action taken to put an end to these pesky nuisance calls once and for all!

They began with "we’re not here to sell you anything" - as if that’s true! What a load of rubbish. Just leave me alone, please.

Got a call from this bloke who kept asking if I was Mr xxxx. I told him straight up I wouldn’t say a thing unless he told me who he was. He then made some cheeky remark and hung up on me. Another one for the block list. Honestly, can’t wait till they tighten the laws on these muppets.

Got a ring from this number earlier today. Lucky for me, I use a pretty clever call blocker that stops every single one of these annoying calls, so I wasn’t interrupted or annoyed. Honestly, everyone should get one of these gadgets - it’d stop all the complaints for good.

Got a call from 0113 320 9606 saying something about a car accident I've never been involved in. I just ended the call straight away. Seems dodgy.

Just received my very first call from these folks claiming to be from "Assured Pensions." They were quite pushy, trying to persuade me that they could evaluate how well my pensions are doing. After a bit of back and forth, I let them know I wasn't keen on their offer, and we both amicably ended the conversation. Quite an experience, I must say!

This number has been ringing my phone sporadically for the past three weeks. Honestly, can’t they take a hint? I simply refuse to pick up; I'm not interested in discussing a pension that’s got nothing to do with me and that I will never have any stake in. So for the love of all that is good, take the hint! Wishing everyone a peaceful day and don't let these pesky calls get you down! Cheers! 😊

I’ve attempted to ring my mobile several times over the last three weeks. They seem intent on discussing a pension that I don’t even own! Honestly, what a ridiculous use of time for all involved!

Those cheeky blighters called me, let it ring once, and then cut off! So, naturally, I gave them a bell back. Absolute nonsense about retirement schemes!
