I picked up the phone and it turned out to be someone from a utility firm trying to offer an energy price comparison. I calmly requested they take my number off their list. Can't really decide how to rate this since it was just a cold call, nothing too bad.

They've called me three times, but whenever I pick up, it just cuts off. So, I've ended up blocking the number now.

On the 11th of December 2019, I received a call on my mobile from 0113 320 4852. I picked up, but there was silence on the line before the call abruptly ended. Since August, I've been inundated with a plethora of unsavoury calls. Honestly, it baffles me how these muppets waste their time with such cold calling tactics only to disconnect. I've been receiving calls from numbers starting with the Leeds area code, 0113, repeatedly. However, from past encounters, I've realised that they tend to hang up the moment I pick up the phone. Initially, I thought it might be a friend calling from Leeds, since I do have someone living there, but I’m based in Sheffield. Now, I simply disregard these calls altogether, well aware that they rarely leave any message behind. This has been an ongoing irritation for a couple of years now. It's particularly infuriating because there have been times when I don't manage to reach my phone in time, only to discover it's yet another scam or nuisance call. The latest one was from the number 0113 320 4852.

Got two calls from them so far and both times they just cut off without saying a word!

Just like loads of others have said, no messages when calls go unanswered, which isn’t really a shock. When I do pick up, I sometimes mess around a bit and the call gets cut off straight away. Been waiting ages for anyone to actually say anything and honestly, I’m fed up now, so I’ve just blocked the number.
