Got a ring from this number earlier today at about 2.24. The bloke on the other end had an English accent, seemed like he was maybe from some place called Finkes or something. He was chatting about funeral arrangements. I told him I've had loads of calls like this one, so I wasn’t interested and just ended the call.

This woman was really persistent about selling a funeral plan even after I told her I already had one sorted. Kept saying I needed to act quickly because prices would rise soon. She kept pushing about sparing my family the hassle and emotional strain of planning a funeral, and even when I mentioned my wife had passed away, she wouldn't stop trying to get me to sign up. Once she said she’d transfer me to someone else, I just ended the call. I managed fine, but worried others might fall for this. Watch out, folks.

Had a couple of dodgy calls just yesterday. Ended both pretty quick, figured they were up to no good. Blocked the first one straight away, but then got another from a number that was just a bit different, had to block that too. Why can't these scammy people be tracked down and dealt with? Spoke in a thick Indian accent that was impossible to get, but I picked up on "600 thousand pounds" and "insurance" at some point. Told him twice to buzz off, but he just didn’t seem to get English, so in the end I had to switch to a word he might understand - told him to "get lost" in no uncertain terms.

Got a phone call from a guy called Chris, who was trying to sell me a funeral plan. I told him I've already sorted one out, but he went on about how mine wasn’t good enough and I should get a new one. After about 9 minutes of chatting, he finally gave up.

The guy on the phone claimed to be selling some sort of Government funeral plan but couldn’t even say which Government it was from. If he was legit, he’d know selling that kind of thing here isn’t allowed. In fact, it’s actually against the law to cold call anyone living on the Isle of Man.

Around 23,000 folks have searched for this number. I assumed the new rules about cold calling would cut down on these annoying calls, but honestly, it's only getting worse. I need to warn everyone about this funeral plan scam that’s been going around! Had a call from someone pretending to offer a 'great deal' on funeral plans, sounded legit at first but something felt off. Always check who you’re talking to before handing over any details. Stay safe out there, folks!

Got a call from a young woman called Natalie who was going on about some government programme and how expensive funerals can be. She didn’t say what company she was from, though. I told her I had everything sorted and then just blocked the number.

I got a call from 0113204727, and since I was waiting for a phone ring, I picked up straight away without looking at the caller ID. Right after I answered, there was this loud beeping sound and then the call just cut off. I've seen this number pop up before but never bothered answering it because I don’t know who it is and usually I just ignore random numbers I don’t recognise anyway.

I got a call on my mobile but no voicemail left. These calls never stop and it’s really annoying. They must be aware I’m a pensioner or something.

Some bloke calling himself an Afrikaans guy (why the heck ain’t he in Cape Town?) was pitching some dodgy "government funeral plan". He clearly had no clue about basic security stuff, sounded lost and about as sharp as a sack of hammers. Proper nuisance who just wouldn't take no or nie for an answer. To top it off, he gave me an email for complaints that was totally bogus. What a hassle!

Got two calls on my phone yesterday from some bloke asking if I’d caught Martin Lewis on telly lately. Then he started banging on about funeral plans, trying to sell me something. I told him I wasn’t interested, as I’ve no plans to kick the bucket anytime soon. He seemed totally thrown by that response - quite bizarre, if you ask me!

Got a call about some government funeral plans offer. Sounded a bit dodgy to me, so I didn’t really trust it and hung up. Don’t think I’m gonna look into it either, feels like one of those scams. Be careful out there!
