My iPhone ain’t showing caller ID now, so it just shows a Leeds number. I picked up in case it was someone from work. It ended up going to an answerphone with a voice saying it was ‘The Leisure Channel’ and to ring back during office hours, which it already was. So, blocked them. Need to get my iPhone sorted.

This number rang me about four times last week, and then again yesterday - 1st Feb. The caller said he was from the Wyndham Group or something similar. I’d already checked out the reviews here, so I played along to see what the scam might be. He started asking about my income over the past four years - like if it was above £12,000 but under £50,000. Then he asked about my wife's earnings. To my surprise, he told me I didn’t qualify for any tax relief since I’m a taxpayer. After that, he thanked me for my time and hung up.

Just like the others mentioned, this person called saying I could get some kind of tax refund through "Marriage Allowance" or something. I told them if I had any tax refunds due, I’d reach out to HMRC myself. They just hung up. I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a call from someone called George who somehow knew my name, he said he was from Walden Group about married couples allowance or something. I just ended the call.

This number just rang me up asking for my missus about some kind of marriage tax rebate. I asked him to send me their website so I could check it out properly. After that, he kept jabbering but I ended up cutting the call. Total waste of time.

This number rang me while I was in the middle of a custody checkup for my grandchild, so I picked up thinking it was someone official. But when there was silence on the other end, I just hung up. I’m definitely putting this number on my block list now.

I got a call from someone saying they were from 'Wyndan Group.' The bloke claimed I was married (which I’m definitely not) and suggested I might be entitled to some payout because of it. When I asked where they got my number, he said I must have agreed to some privacy policy on another website a while back, and that's how they got hold of my info. I suppose that could be true. Anyway, I told him I wasn’t interested and we ended the chat there.
