01133201262 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 01133201262 👆 is reported as a suspicious and unsolicited pension-related cold call, often originating from a low-quality call centre with inexperienced staff. Callers may claim to represent pension advisory services and sometimes know personal details, raising concerns about data security. The offer typically includes a free pension review followed by a home visit, where high-pressure tactics may be used. This practice is widely regarded as a potential scam by users and financial authorities, who advise against engaging with cold callers about pensions. Genuine pension advice should be sought through authorised, FCA-regulated independent advisors, even if it involves a fee, to ensure safety and professionalism. Users generally recommend ignoring or blocking the number to avoid fraudulent schemes.

Got two calls from this number earlier today but ignored them both. Honestly, no clue who they might be.

I received a phone call from these folks and immediately got a weird feeling. The callers sounded really young, there was a lot of noise in the background, and pretty quickly I was passed onto someone claiming to be a 'senior' advisor. It all felt like a cheap, dodgy call centre messing about with pension stuff. If you do listen to them, they'll push a “free pension review,” then try to send someone round your house to sift through your paperwork. I reckon they’ll try to push you into signing something - big no no! I looked up the FCA website and it clearly warns against dealing with pension advisors who cold call. They say it's very rare to get free advice, and those who do aren’t FCA authorised. Often these firms are connected to risky pension schemes and you could lose it all. So seriously, just hang up on them! If you genuinely need pension advice like me, find a proper FCA regulated independent advisor. Yes, it might cost you a bit but at least you’ll get the right guidance. Your pension is too precious to risk! The number that called me was 0113 320 1262.

I don’t understand how they got my phone number and even my name! I got a call asking about some pension stuff, but I’m only 24 haha. Then they started asking about missed calls using my full name. Seems totally dodgy to me, like a scam or something. I can’t believe someone had that info on me. Don’t give them any info at all! - caller was something about pension.

Got a call from someone saying he was with "Assured", knew my name and said there were updates about pensions. I told him I never put money into a pension, and he just thanked me nicely for my time and ended the call. - caller: Assured pension

Got a call from some Assured Pension person wanting details about my pensions. I mentioned I'd already checked the government site and talked to an advisor, so everything was fine. The woman on the phone was quite polite and just wished me a nice day. Caller was Assured Pension.

Got a random call from some unknown number claiming to be about pension updates. Never asked for it, so I just blocked them straight away.

Someone rang me saying there’s been changes with the government and my pension. Thing is, I don’t even have a pension! So as soon as I said that, they just hung up. The person gave a name, but I’m not sure if it was real.
