They called claiming to check if I wanted to renew the warranty on my BMW X5. I told them I’ve never owned an X5, then they asked for the first line of my address, which I gave since I had just taken my car to the nearby BMW dealership (probably a mistake). They asked for the reg number of the X5, which they provided. I said I’ve never had a car with that reg, and they apologised and said they’d remove me from their list. Not sure if it was a scam or not.

Notably, she stands as the sole remaining director of the company, having seen the rest of the board members resign. If you look up ‘Olympic Financial Consultants’ on ‘Companies House’, you'll find that this is the company persistently making those bothersome calls!
