Got a call from this number earlier, but when I picked up, there was just silence. From what others have said, sounds like it's a scam, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked it.

Got a call around 10 in the morning from what looked like a Leeds number, but I’m pretty sure it was faked. A guy with a posh-sounding voice left a recorded message instead of talking directly to me. He said something like, “This is BT calling about illegal use of your line. BT will disconnect your service soon. Press 1 to speak to an engineer or press 2.” I didn’t say anything and they just hung up on me.
