Got a call from this number today, some Asian bloke asking me to confirm some details. I could barely hear him and he was rushing his words, which made me suspicious. I asked what the call was about and caught him mentioning Nationwide and mortgage. Told him I never had anything with Nationwide and said I thought it was a scam. He started talking over me about mortgages again, so I asked him to take me off his list. Then he said, “how can it be a scam? I’m calling your number, you idiot,” (pretty sure he called me a f*****g idiot). When I told him not to be rude, he just hung up on me.

I told the guy, who sounded Asian, to mind his own business and asked if he was happy with his card instead. I've had calls like this before. My number is unlisted and I've signed up with the telephone preference service, plus contacted my phone provider about these nuisance calls. Just a heads up, this number looks like a total scam.

These dodgy blokes with weird accents keep telling me I got a virus on my computer, my bank details have been leaked, and my internet’s dropping out coz my PC’s messing up! Now, I just reply with “Hello, xxx police station, how may I help you?” and keep saying it over and over. They stop ringing for a few months, then start again. Sometimes I just mess with them for a laugh, chat for a bit and then hang up, they ring back and I just do the same again, but only when I’m feeling bored!

Phoned my mum's number on 05/12/2015 around 11 in the morning. A lady with an Asian accent claimed there was an attempt to access her credit card but assured me her cards were fine. I told her my mum doesn't even own a credit card and asked where she got such info, then they just hung up. Mum’s number is on the TPS list.
