I got a call from this number, but my iPhone 12 showed it wasn’t really from Leeds, it was actually from Romania. Looks like a dodgy bank scam to me. Definitely don’t try logging into your banking online when they ring you. Whatever rubbish they say, don’t trust it, it’s all a load of bollocks.

Yesterday evening at about 7:47pm I got a call from this number claiming to be Halifax Bank. They asked loads of questions like when I get paid and other personal details. After a bit, I twigged it was a scam and blocked the number straight away. Today, there were three missed calls from the same number, but they never actually got through. Then, a guy rang me on 07798214012, again pretending to be from Halifax with the same accent. When I told him I'd reported it to the cops, he got really nasty. I was lucky to phone the real bank first thing this morning to cancel my cards because they’d sent me a passcode I had to repeat to the scammer the night before. He was trying to take £500 from my card and send it to www.banxa.com. Seriously, watch out for this kind of stuff!

Got a call from this number earlier, some bloke claiming he was from Halifax’s fraud team and said there was dodgy activity going on with my account. It sounded off to me, so I just ended the call and blocked them straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be the fraud team from Halifax, but it was obvious a scam. Then about an hour later, I got another call from 0113 242 1984. When I told them I'd already had a call from their 'team' on that number and that it was a scam, they just cut me off straight away. Proper dodgy!
