I recently received a call from this number. The person on the other end claimed to be Simon from Halifax. When we called them back, she asked about a permanent arrangement I currently have in place. However, as soon as she heard that, she thanked us and promptly hung up. Quite baffling, really! Not sure what to make of it - sounds a bit fishy, doesn't it?

They asked if we had already contacted them regarding an ongoing matter I’m dealing with. Once we confirmed that we had indeed reached out, they simply thanked us and hung up. Quite perplexing, really! Can't say for certain if it's genuine or not...

I reckon it’s quite likely that this number belongs to a debt collection agency working on behalf of one of the big banks. Once we get to the bottom of it, I'll make sure to keep everyone in the loop. No offence meant, of course, but when you're grappling with financial troubles, these calls can feel relentless, much like how we’re all in this together.
