My mum got a call from a number that said it was some kind of call blocking company. She tried to listen but couldn’t quite catch what the bloke was saying, so she just ended the call.

I got a call from them early this morning around 8:30. Funny thing is, I had already signed up with them as a call-blocking company. The bloke on the line had an Asian accent and reckoned I’d been on their list for more than 5 years. But here’s the catch - in the past four years, I’ve lost my partner, shifted to a new place, and even changed my phone number. So his info was way off. Told him to double-check and come back when he’s got the right details! Total scam if you ask me!

Got a call from a woman with a thick accent looking for my mum. When I told her she wasn’t available, she just ended the call right away. After reading some of these comments, looks like it’s another one of those scams going around. Such a pain!

Somebody rang me but I had no clue who, thankfully my Truecall call blocker stopped it dead in its tracks in just six seconds. That’s pretty much par for the course with those automated calls that don’t listen at all.

Got a call from some bloke with an Asian accent who said his name was ‘James’ and was talking about some ‘call blocking’ service. Definitely felt like a con, so I just told him to get it sorted and bill me for it, then I ended the call before he could say anything else.

So far today, I got a couple of calls from 01132037495, one around 1:55 pm on Friday 10/07/2020. Each time I answered, nobody spoke, which is honestly really frustrating. It just breaks up what I’m trying to get done, and the phone isn’t exactly close by either.

Some bloke claiming to be from the call blocking team rang me about an upgrade and then asked for my direct debit info. I said no way, feeling it was dodgy, and then he just cut me off.

some woman called me with a really thick foreign accent, sounded proper hard to catch what she was saying. she claimed she was from some "all blocking department" or something like that. i told her i'd never come across that before, and she went on about how they’d spotted i’d been getting loads of annoying calls and offered to "upgrade" my service. i wasn’t buying it and hung up, but she just ended the call straight away.
