Got a call from this number at about 9:30 this morning, said they were some kind of heating advice service. I hung up straight away, definitely felt like a scam to me.

got a call from a number claiming to be from Leeds. I couldnt pick up but they left a voicemail in a strange american robotic voice saying I had to call the county courthouse. sounded dodgy so I just blocked the number.

Got a voicemail sayin I missed a call from my broadband company. I just ended the call, didn’t wanna hear more of it. The number began with 0111 but yesterday I had a couple of calls with the exact same recorded message, same lady’s voice, but different phone numbers each time.

0111 473 0636 Today, 24th October, I got a message on my voicemail saying there’s an issue with my internet connection at home, and I should press 1 to talk to a technical advisor. I didn’t press anything cos my internet is fine! Definitely just another scam call. These calls are getting really annoying now.

20 Oct 2020. 0111 810 4100. Got a voicemail on my phone in Stockport warning my internet would be disconnected in 2 days, asked me to press 1 to speak with an "executive."

Got a call from an 0111 number claiming to be from BT saying my line was hacked. I told him Openreach deals with phone lines, then he started to get all rude. I just said goodbye and ended the call.

Got a call at 8.30am on our office line from 0111 0887 3596 but didn’t pick up. The 0111 prefix is usually linked to anonymous calls and often scams. Been getting a load of phishing emails pretending to be Amazon Prime lately. Not saying this is connected but it does look like the same kinda scammy stuff.

Got a call from a bloke speaking with an Indian accent. He said he was from Direct Line and told us we'd been in a car crash. We've had calls like this before, all saying we've been in accidents. We did have an accident but it was well before the date he mentioned.

Got a call from 0111 578 5743 earlier. The person said my internet would be disconnected in 4 hours due to an issue with my router. They told me to press 1 to talk to an agent about the problem, so I did, but no one answered. BE CAREFUL!!!

Got a bloke on the phone claiming he was from BT, telling me to log into my laptop and go on my Playstore because my line was supposedly being hacked. The number was 01114814507. Every time I tried to hang up, he just kept ringing back. I reckon he was proper annoyed 'cause I kept saying I couldn’t understand him. Thankfully, he hasn’t called again yet 🤞

The caller’s number begins with ‘0111’ which looks like a dodgy number, probably a scam. Best not to pick up and just block it straight away.

Some bloke called saying he was from Microsoft, telling me my PC was sending signals to their satellite and was in big trouble. He had a strong Indian accent. I told him to send me a proper letter about it, on official paper, before I’d even think about it. He argued a bit saying the company is legit but then grudgingly agreed. The weird thing is he didn’t have any of my info - except he actually knew my name! Watch out for this one, it smells like a scam to me.

Some bloke said he was from Microsoft and said my computer was sending scam emails and my licence would be revoked. When I told him he was the scammer and had a laugh, he got nasty and just hung up. Watch out for these dodgy calls!
