Oh, what a nuisance! The phone just won't stop ringing, and whenever I pick up, it's dead air. Then I end up getting a callback from some call centre asking probing questions, as if they haven't got the sense to check if I'm available first. Can you believe it? I've had no less than six calls from them today alone! Apparently, they're after some survey or another. Even after I've told them I'm not interested and to kindly disappear, they persist! The number's withheld too, so it wouldn't surprise me if it’s the same lot just using new digits to bother me.
