Got a call today right after some other scam number buzzed me. He started with his usual nonsense but I cut him off quick and ended the call.

So I got contacted through an Apple service thing when I suspected my laptop was hacked. They claimed to fix the issue and, well, it seemed sorted afterwards. TBH, I wasn’t sure if they were legit or just some scammy outfit, but at the time I believed them. I ended up handing over my card details and shelling out quite a chunk of cash, though I don’t remember actually giving full authorisation. Now, almost a year later, they’re ringing me up asking for a refund or to cancel something. Honestly, I’m kinda stuck on what to do next.

Got calls from 01019 and 0193225100, they kept asking for a person who doesn't even live here. When I said that, one bloke accused me of making things up. I played along with a few of them just to waste their time - they seem to be fishing for info about your computer. Definitely don’t hand over any details or let them fiddle with your device. Luckily, I’ve got caller ID and have blocked both numbers now.

Received a couple of calls from this number on Tuesday, 3rd November. The person on the other end struggled significantly with English. They claimed to be from Talk Talk, and even after I explained that I was merely house sitting and not the actual owner, they persisted, seemingly unable to grasp what I was saying. Eventually, I opted to thank them and ended the call.

In the past ten minutes, I’ve gotten three calls from this number, all at eight in the morning. Since we don’t have caller ID, we pick up just in case it’s someone we know. Every time they say it’s Microsoft on the line, we just hang up straight away.

I just received a call from this number, and it appeared to be an individual from India. I couldn't quite figure out if their claims were legitimate, but they stated they were phoning from Talk Talk regarding the computer at my workplace.

They keep ringing me every morning around 8:05, really driving me mad. When my answerphone picks up, they just hang up straightaway. I’ve asked my provider to look into it, but still waiting to hear back.

I’ve received calls from this number since the 27th of October, 2015. I’ve decided to use my BT Call Blocker phone to prevent any further intrusions, so I’ve added this number to the block list. It’ll be interesting to see if that does the trick. Just a heads up, if someone rings you claiming to be from Talk Talk, do yourself a favour and don’t engage. Just block ‘em!

I've received numerous calls from these folks over the past few weeks, which is quite baffling considering my number isn't listed. They constantly claim to be representing Talk Talk, inquiring about my latest internet activities. It’s hardly shocking now, is it, given the recent hacks involving Talk Talk? It appears they’re quite content to compromise their customer’s privacy due to their shoddy data practices and reliance on overseas call centres, where poorly paid employees are just keen to extract information for their own gain. It’s mind-boggling to think that all those profits will likely be funneled into Mr Dunstones’ latest luxury yacht!

Loads of times I've seen a missed call on my home phone from this number, but no idea who they are. It’s pretty annoying now. The number looks quite odd too, like a strange mix or something.

I got a call from someone pretending to be from my internet company, saying my PC was being hacked. They gave me some weird steps to “sort it out,” but none of it added up. When I asked for more details, they dodged the question. Tried to hang up, but they kept pushing me to stay on the line and got pretty pushy. Reading the other comments, it’s clear this was a scam.

I keep receiving calls from the number 01019, so I contacted TalkTalk for help. I mentioned to them that I was unable to block the number, and after conducting some checks, they assured me everything was fine. For a short while, the calls ceased, but alas, they soon resumed. Frustrated, I decided to reach out to other providers. They suggested switching to a different provider altogether. Got around six calls from 01019 scammers on my home phone recently. When I pick up, it’s mostly silent, or they just hang up as soon as my answerphone starts. I told one of them I’d report them to the police, and he actually dared me to do it before slamming down the phone! Can’t block the number on TalkTalk since it’s only five digits long, which is annoying. Honestly, don’t bother talking to these con artists, just let your answer machine handle it or simply don’t pick up at all.

Received a call from this number earlier today. The chap claimed to be from TalkTalk and mentioned that 'foreign entities have been attempting to breach my internet connection repeatedly over the past few weeks'. 01019 calls me every day at around 12.09pm and I can't seem to block it. I’ve got a phone that doesn’t show who’s calling, and since I’m waiting for a call from the hospital, I always pick up. Today, I didn’t hang up immediately. After a pause, an automated voice just said “goodbye”. Honestly, something needs to be done about these nuisance calls.

This is the third occasion I’ve received a call from this number. On the previous two instances, a representative from a rather frenetic call centre claimed to be reaching out on behalf of Talktalk, warning me about potential issues with our usage. I explained that the account is registered under my husband’s name and asked if I could speak with him first to address their concerns. They promptly terminated the call. Just moments ago, I got another call, and all I encountered was an eerie silence, so I decided to hang up. (25/8/2015 15:47pm)

I received a call from the number 01019, where an individual claiming to be Blake from Talktalk informed me that my router appeared to be accessed from locations such as India and China. During my time as a Talktalk customer, any test calls I received always showed a legitimate UK number. It seems pretty evident this is a classic case of a scam operation.

I just received one of those automated calls. I answered, but there was no one on the line. I've since cut off that number on my smart device. I'm ex-directory and supposedly on a list for preferred callers to shield me from this sort of nuisance. It's rather unsettling how they've managed to bypass those protections-it's clear they possess some advanced technology. Stay alert, folks! Looks like a classic scam operation to me.

Rang me at 10:53 this morning (12th August 2015), but they didn’t leave any sort of message. Just a rather abrupt recorded ‘goodbye’ and then the line went dead.

A woman called me claiming my computer had been involved in some dodgy dealings and requested that I turn it on. I found it quite amusing, and I told her it was a scam. I then made it clear that I’d be reporting her to the authorities and urged her to refrain from contacting me again. I'm on the unlisted directory, so I'm puzzled as to how these individuals manage to acquire our information!

This number called me at the crack of dawn, around 6:00 am. Prior to that, I received a couple of calls from another one starting with 01026 at 4:00 am, but those soon ceased. Odd behaviour, I must say!

Received a rather dubious call purporting to be from Windows, alerting me that my computer was supposedly downloading dodgy files that could wreak havoc on my hard drive. They had the audacity to know my postcode, full name, and even my address! Their pitch involved coaxing me to switch on my computer to purportedly resolve this "issue". I played along, mentioning that I don’t actually own a computer myself. When I brought up that my daughter has one, they immediately jumped on that, but I pointed out it wasn’t under my name or linked to my address. Clearly, it was a scam they were trying to pull!
