Got a call today right after some other scam number buzzed me. He started with his usual nonsense but I cut him off quick and ended the call.

So I got contacted through an Apple service thing when I suspected my laptop was hacked. They claimed to fix the issue and, well, it seemed sorted afterwards. TBH, I wasn’t sure if they were legit or just some scammy outfit, but at the time I believed them. I ended up handing over my card details and shelling out quite a chunk of cash, though I don’t remember actually giving full authorisation. Now, almost a year later, they’re ringing me up asking for a refund or to cancel something. Honestly, I’m kinda stuck on what to do next.

Got calls from 01019 and 0193225100, they kept asking for a person who doesn't even live here. When I said that, one bloke accused me of making things up. I played along with a few of them just to waste their time - they seem to be fishing for info about your computer. Definitely don’t hand over any details or let them fiddle with your device. Luckily, I’ve got caller ID and have blocked both numbers now.

On the 3rd of November, I got two calls from this number. The person on the other end barely spoke any proper English. They claimed to be from Talk Talk, but even after I told them I was just house sitting and not the actual owner, they just kept going on like they didn’t get it. Eventually, I just said thanks and ended the call.

In the past ten minutes, I’ve gotten three calls from this number, all at eight in the morning. Since we don’t have caller ID, we pick up just in case it’s someone we know. Every time they say it’s Microsoft on the line, we just hang up straight away.

They keep ringing me every morning around 8:05, really driving me mad. When my answerphone picks up, they just hang up straightaway. I’ve asked my provider to look into it, but still waiting to hear back.

Been getting loads of calls from them over the past couple of weeks even though my number isn't on any list. They keep claiming they're from Talk Talk and talking about my recent internet activity. No shock really considering Talk Talk's been hacked recently. Feels like they don't mind putting customers at risk because of poor data handling and using cheap overseas call agents just fishing for info to make money. All those profits probably just funding Mr Dunstone's latest yacht or something.

Loads of times I've seen a missed call on my home phone from this number, but no idea who they are. It’s pretty annoying now. The number looks quite odd too, like a strange mix or something.

I got a call from someone pretending to be from my internet company, saying my PC was being hacked. They gave me some weird steps to “sort it out,” but none of it added up. When I asked for more details, they dodged the question. Tried to hang up, but they kept pushing me to stay on the line and got pretty pushy. Reading the other comments, it’s clear this was a scam.

I've been getting calls from 01019 non stop. I reached out to TalkTalk and told them I couldn't block the number. They ran some checks and said everything was fine, so the calls stopped for a couple days. Then, of course, the calls started again straight away. After that, I asked other providers about it, and they suggested switching to a different company. One even looked it up online and said the best thing is just to change your number and be careful who you give it to. They also recommended using a mobile only for online stuff.

Got around six calls from 01019 scammers on my home phone recently. When I pick up, it’s mostly silent, or they just hang up as soon as my answerphone starts. I told one of them I’d report them to the police, and he actually dared me to do it before slamming down the phone! Can’t block the number on TalkTalk since it’s only five digits long, which is annoying. Honestly, don’t bother talking to these con artists, just let your answer machine handle it or simply don’t pick up at all.

01019 calls me every day at around 12.09pm and I can't seem to block it. I’ve got a phone that doesn’t show who’s calling, and since I’m waiting for a call from the hospital, I always pick up. Today, I didn’t hang up immediately. After a pause, an automated voice just said “goodbye”. Honestly, something needs to be done about these nuisance calls.

This is at least the third time I’ve received a call from this number. The first few times, it was someone claiming to be from Talktalk, warning about some issues with our usage. I told them the account belongs to my husband and that I wanted to pass the phone to him, but they just ended the call. Just got a ring from 01019 claiming to be Blake from Talktalk. They told me my router had been accessed from loads of spots, even places like India and China. When I was still with Talktalk, I’d get test calls but they always showed up with a real UK number on my caller ID. Sounds like it’s probably a scam to me.

Got a call from an automated number. When I answered, no one spoke. I ended up blocking it through my landline. I’m on the preferred callers list and my number’s ex-directory, so I thought I was safe from this kind of thing. But these folks must have some pretty clever gear to get around all that. Watch out! This has scam written all over it.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Windows, warning me my computer was downloading harmful files that could ruin my hard drive. They had my full address, postcode and name, which freaked me out a bit. They asked me to switch on my PC so they could ‘fix’ the issue. I told them I don’t actually have a PC, but then mentioned my daughter does. He said “that must be it then,” but when I said it’s under her name and not even registered here, it became obvious they were trying to con me.
