I received a rather peculiar phone call earlier today. The bloke on the other end was inquiring about my partner by name, claiming to be calling from his workplace. He also asked if I was his better half. Strangely enough, he seemed to know our postcode and proceeded to quiz me about whether we subscribe to Sky TV via a satellite dish. When I replied in the negative, his reaction was quite telling-he repeated the question about Sky and promptly ended the call when I reiterated my answer. It was clearly a scam! I often find amusement in stringing these callers along for a bit before sending them packing!

Got a call from some Asian bloke looking for my missus by her name. I said she wasn’t in and he then asked if I had any life insurance. I didn’t want to say anything and told him not to bother calling back as I wasn’t interested. He just hung up. Honestly, don’t pick up if you don’t know the number.
