Some woman with an Asian accent called and said hackers had gotten into my phone and were up to no good. She asked me to press the Windows key plus R to 'help fix' it or something. Funny how the scammers pretend they're protecting you from hackers when they're the ones trying to mess you about. Total time wasters and pretty dodgy too!

Got a call from someone who sounded Asian or Indian, said they were from BT Openreach. There was so much background noise I could barely catch what he was saying. He claimed I’d "broken the internet" on my PC and that odd stuff was happening past midnight when I was meant to be "in bed with my family". Told him to piss off and ended the call straight away. Didn’t let him anywhere near my computer. Pretty sure he wanted me to log in and download some dodgy program to “fix” it. Watch out for that number, it's dodgy!

Called today at 11:35am by a man with an Asian accent claiming my BT broadband was about to be cut off due to some illegal stuff. I told him straight up "You’re a scammer, stop wasting my time" and he just ended the call.

I got a call today from 00983002. It was a chap with a pronounced subcontinental accent claiming to represent BT. He mentioned something about my internet being cut off. When I pointed out that BT isn't my service provider and therefore has no authority to disconnect me, he started rambling on about regulations. When I pressed him for clarity, he suggested I look it up online. I told him there was no need, as I’m well aware of how things operate round here. He then started hurling abuse at me and used some rather choice language before hanging up. This isn’t the first time I’ve received dodgy calls pretending to be from BT.

Some bloke called Dave Blackwell ringed me today, sounded like typical Asian geezer who probably can't spell his own name unless it's in front of him. Said there was problems with my broadband and asked if I was the main user of the computer. Well no, it’s my kids on games mostly and everything's fine with my connection. He claimed to be from BT, so I asked if he meant OpenReach, then he went quiet before saying “yeah, we're with BT”. Told him he was talking rubbish and to jog on.

Got a call from someone saying they were from "British Telecom", telling me my internet was about to be cut off due to some error on my PC. I contacted EE/Orange and they assured me they’d look into the issue and get back to me. Little did I know, the call I received later was from some chap in Delhi on the number 00983002, who tried to pull a fast one on me - quite poorly, I might add. What’s baffling is that they continue to harass me with their persistent calls. Next time they bother me, I might just grab a whistle and give them a blast that’ll shatter their eardrums!

I received a rather unpleasant call from this number on the 3rd of October, 2016. The person on the line was incredibly inappropriate, making lewd comments and suggesting he wanted to come to my house. He boasted about his size and continued to spew filth even after I told him I would be informing the authorities. I ultimately ended the call, feeling quite unsettled as I’ve never encountered anything like this before. I initially thought it was just another nuisance call, which I get regularly, and the caller happened to be of Asian descent, as is often the case.

This number rang me earlier, thought it was just another spam call. An Asian bloke answered, but he was really gross, started saying he wanted to have sex with me, claiming he had 9 inches and wanted to show up at my place, all sorts of nasty stuff. I told him I’d be reporting him to the cops but he kept going. I ended the call quickly. I’m quite shaken, never had anything like that happen before. Just a heads up to anyone else in case it comes up. Not sure who I’m meant to report this to though :(

A short while ago, I received a rather dubious call from a foreign lady claiming to be from BT, warning me that my internet was about to be cut off due to some virus wreaking havoc on my computer and messing with my router. When I probed further and inquired about the name on the BT account, she mentioned my late stepfather’s name, which obviously doesn’t add up. I immediately told her that was incorrect, and she promptly hung up on me. Not long after, the same number rang again but all I got was silence on the other end. Absolutely disgraceful!

Received a call earlier today from this number. An Indian lady claimed that my internet had been compromised and that BT would dispatch a technician to my home. I immediately recognised it as a scam when she requested me to boot up my computer. I’ve been caught out by this nonsense in the past and felt like a right prat! Some bloke called saying his name was Harry and claimed he was from BT, saying my internet would be cut off today cause it’d been hacked. He wanted me to open Windows and type in a code he gave me. I was already a bit iffy about it and told him I use a Chromebook, not Windows. He called me a liar and told me to borrow a neighbour’s computer to fix it. 14:05 18/8/16 and 09:45 19/8/16, Indian scammers struck again. Looks like they've switched to a different number this time. Definitely the same lot behind it. I reckon there's some dodgy call centre somewhere, maybe in Kolkata, West Bengal or Kota in Pakistan. They’re proper rotters. Absolute p******. Sometimes I wish I knew exactly where they were so I could send something nasty their way.

I’ve had calls non-stop from loads of firms and scam artists even after putting my number on the TPS and other do-not-call lists. This is honestly just bullying. My mum was really upset when some rude bloke from Pakistan told her to die from cancer and then just hung up. The UK’s standards have really gone downhill.

The cheek of it! My laptop is in perfect working order, thank you very much! I’ve got Norton antivirus keeping a close eye on things and it alerts me about any serious threats. Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent claiming he was from B.T., saying my internet was about to be disconnected because my neighbours were using it. Received a rather alarming call claiming to be from the Technical Department of BT. They asserted that our computers were generating error codes and that our broadband was due to be disconnected that very day. This was quite surprising considering we operate as a business with a secure hosted system, which means our computers wouldn’t even have error codes to report.
