Had a hard time figuring out what he was on about, but it seemed something about fixing my computer. I kindly told him to buzz off.

I recently received a call from someone claiming to be from the Windows support team, insisting that I power on my device. Strangely, they had no clue about my identity or location, which raises my suspicions. I can't help but think this is a blatant scam aimed at extorting money from unsuspecting individuals.

Got calls from some 'Windows support' folks, telling me to power on my PC. They get pretty rude if you say that Windows wouldn't be ringing up like that. They don’t even know my name or where I live. Usually an Eastern accent, sometimes a guy, sometimes a lady, and they bother me several times daily. The moment I ask them which computer they're talking about or mention it's not mine, they just cut the call.
