Got three calls today from someone saying they were from BT, telling me there were malware problems with my internet. Whenever I asked about my BT account, they just dropped the call. I rang BT myself and they told me it was definitely a scam.

Got a call from someone saying they were from BT Internet support, telling me my computer was being hacked. What creeped me out was he actually knew my name and who pays the bills. The caller sounded Asian and called himself David Miller?? When I told him I'd hang up and contact BT directly to check, he got really pushy. Honestly, a pretty unpleasant ordeal.

Got a call from someone claiming to be BT tech support, but it was just another scam from an Indian call centre. They said there were “security problems” with my computer. Honestly, don’t even pick up if you see a number you don’t know like this. They'll try to access your PC and end up charging you loads of money. Stay well clear!

someone rang saying they were from bt tech support. my line was going dead all the time, so i told him to call me later. he never got back to me. so i looked up the number and turns out it’s nothing to do with bt at all.
