Got a call from a 14 digit number today, no one spoke at all. Read the reviews and it's pretty clear what’s going on - best to stay clear. A lady with a strong accent called asking if I could take part in a home survey. She wanted my name and asked if I was Mrs something, I said I wasn’t. Then she tried Mr something and again I said no. She mentioned my postcode and asked if that was right, which it wasn’t. Finally, she asked if I'd answer her survey questions, and of course, I said no. What I don’t get is why she just hung up on me like that!

On the 28th of February, our household received a phone call from a number asking my wife to participate in a survey regarding NUISANCE calls. Despite explaining that we already had a telecommunications provider, the caller insisted it was a different matter. However, my wife politely declined to participate in the survey. Later that day, we received another call from the same number, but the call abruptly disconnected when I answered. Two calls have already been received from this number on March 1st. Upon checking the origin of the calls, we discovered that they are coming from the Philippines. Therefore, it is advisable not to return any calls to this number.

Subsequently, I decided to terminate the call by hanging up.

Got a ring from someone called Steve claiming he’s from India and wanted to ask me a few things. I just ended the call straight away. Then another call came through, this time from a woman asking for my stepdad - he passed away like six months back. Told her he’s not here anymore and she then wanted to know if I lived in the house. I said yes, then she asked for my name. When I refused, she just cut off the call.

a woman with a strong accent ringing me up, claimed she was from ‘consumer awareness uk’. she wanted me to verify my details and answer some questions. I said fine, but only if she told me the company’s location, who they represented and how they use my info. predictably, she dodged all my questions and kept insisting she was calling for top uk brands. the so-called ‘consumer awareness uk’ and their many other aliases are notorious phone spammers and data gatherers. definitely worth adding this number to your blocklist.

These scammers from India keep calling, pretending to be from BT tech support. They’ve been at it daily for months now, but recently they just cut the call.
