Got a call last week asking me to take part in a survey, supposed to collect some info. I gave them a fake name, but then noticed when they rang a couple of days later, they kept using that same false name I'd given. Pretty much just marketing at the end of the day.

I got a call about some consumer survey and they tried saying I live at 82 London Road, which isn’t right at all. Told them they don’t have the right address for me and I’m not interested in joining their survey. Seems like the caller was just fishing for my address and other info, probably to use it for fraud or maybe sell my details.
