Got this call from an Indian number again, same old scam story about my BT internet. Honestly, I'm fed up with wasting my time pretending to fall for it. Ended up giving them a piece of my mind using every naughty word I know... maybe she picked up some fresh English insults? Just so you know, I’m not even with BT!

Got a call earlier from a lady claiming to be from BT, saying my internet wasn’t safe. Told her I’m not even a BT customer. They’ve tried ringing me 3 times just today. Watch out for these calls. If you’re unsure, just end the call straight away.

Today, Wednesday, I had two calls from this number within half an hour around 15:43. I didn’t pick up either time and let it go to voicemail. Each time, as soon as my automatic message kicked in, they just ended the call.

Got calls from a dodgy international number loads of times - like 15 times in just a few days, I checked my call log. I told them off proper, swearing like mad to get them to bugger off. But it keeps ringing anyway. I reckon I’ll have to get one of those phones that blocks unknown numbers soon. Ofcom or BT aren’t much help since it’s not a UK number. What a pain!

This number has been calling my home phone loads of times every day saying they’re from BT about my internet or landline. I keep telling them I don’t have internet and that I’m disabled, but they just won’t quit bothering me. Yesterday was really bad, I even said I’d call the police, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference because they just rang again a minute ago and I didn’t pick up. Honestly, I’m fed up with it now. DON’T PICK UP IF THIS NUMBER RINGS YOU BECAUSE THEY JUST KEEP CALLING NON-STOP.

Some bloke with an Indian accent picked up and started on about issues with my internet. When I mentioned I thought it was a scam, he ended up calling me a rude name and threatened me. Honestly, their approach to dealing with people is dreadful and clearly needs sorting out.

Big thanks to everyone who shared their experience with this number - it stopped me from picking up. I get calls like this all the time too, probably because I own a few websites and my phone number shows up in the domain WHOIS info. I guess plenty of folks are in the same boat. The best fix is to block these numbers, and for anyone who lists their phone publicly, think about using domain privacy. Or better yet, don’t put your personal number on your site at all. Instead, offer customers a safer way to reach you, like through email or arranging a callback.

I reckon these are scam calls, probably coming from Australia or at least pretending to with that Aussie dialling code, you know like the 0207 ones you get loads of. It’s usually Indians on the other end trying to nick your bank details or credit card info. This number has rang me half a dozen times just today alone.

I got a call from three different folks claiming to be from BT, saying there was an issue with my internet. Seemed dodgy, like they were after some kind of scam. I just said I’m in IT, and they got all awkward and quickly ended the call.
