Got a proper scammer on the line who kept saying I needed to be at my computer but I told him I was feeling rough and stuck on the couch. I played along and told him to call back in a couple of days. He went on for ages about how urgent it was, then finished with "make sure you're sat at your computer when I call". I’m looking forward to windin’ him up again when he phones tomorrow, haha!

This dodgy scammer thought I was gonna be sat at my computer but I told him I was feeling poorly and just loungin' on the sofa. I kept him chatting and asked him to call back in a couple of days. He went on for ages about how serious the matter was, then ended with a warning to be ready at my computer when he phoned next. I’m already lookin’ forward to winding him up again when I ring him tomorrow lol.

Got a call from 0061243260826 - bloke claimed there was something wrong with me computer. When I asked which device, he said it was the one on my network. Told him we had four devices hooked up, so he asked for the IP address. Then he somehow gave me my own home address! I humoured him for a bit. He told me to open a browser, but couldn’t figure out what DuckDuckGO was when I mentioned it. I didn’t bother typing in the website he gave, said there was an error 404 instead. Then he said that was the issue and just hung up on me.

On 7th March 2020 at around 10:20am GMT, I got a call from 006 124 326 0826, seemed like it was coming out of Australia. When I picked up, nothing - no one spoke. Definitely a scam, in my opinion. That’s it, nothing more.

Got a call from someone claiming my computer was sending out weird messages and something was wrong. They wanted me to turn on my PC so they could guide me through fixing it. Honestly, I don't trust random callers anymore, so I just said no and ended the call straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming there was an issue with my internet but when I asked them to prove who they were with, they just couldn’t confirm it. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

Got a ring from this number, some lady claiming there was an issue with my internet service. I told her straight away I wasn’t falling for any scam to try and get cash off me. She kept insisting it wasn’t a scam, saying NO NO repeatedly. I told her I’d be reporting the whole thing to the cops and making sure everyone I know hears about this dodgy call.

So annoying, this caller keeps saying my internet password is exposed and there’s a virus on my computer. They never say which company I use, just keep ringing me like 3 times every day. Really frustrating!

Got a call from a number I didn’t know - no voicemail or anything. Just a bother. Best to just ignore or not ring them back.
