For the last few weeks, I’ve been getting loads of calls from numbers beginning with 0061. The first call was an automated voice claiming my credit card was used at Countdown here in NZ and asking me to verify my card info. I just hung up straight away. But now, it’s pretty much daily - I ignore all the 0061 calls but they keep on ringing. Honestly, it’s so frustrating.

This is like the 10th time this week my NZ line has been ringing! Just picked up now and as soon as some robot started talking about credit card fees, I shut it down - I never shop on the internet anyway. Do not pick up these calls, they’re definitely dodgy. Today, on ### September ### at about 3.### pm, I got a call from 0061### while I was here in New Zealand. All month I've been getting calls from a few other numbers too, like 0061###, 0061###, 0061###, and 0061###. I usually just ignore them since they all look like they're coming from Australia. Seems like something's happening around your area.

On 9th September in NZ, I got calls from 00061290509151 and 000612994157 - both were pretty fishy. They mentioned some weird Visa card charges and told me to press one or two. Tried to block em, but the numbers keep switching up. It's happening daily now, which feels like I'm being targeted or harassed. Proper annoying!

If you get a call from + ### ### ### ###, just hang up. The caller might say he’s Mr. Brian from a company called Jaxx Liberty based in Australia. He’ll try to convince you that you owe a Gas Fee related to Bitcoin transactions. Usually, these fees aren’t much, but when Mr. Brian’s involved, he’ll ask for a sum around ### euros, sometimes twice that amount. And if you’re silly enough to pay, expect another demand shortly after. Don’t send any money their way - it’s definitely a scam.

There was a robotic voice saying something about an Amazon order for an iPhone X worth around £### being put on pause - it told me to press 1 to confirm the purchase or 2 to cancel.
Definitely a scam, but I reckon some folks who aren’t as careful might hit a button and end up losing money through a premium rate phone line or worse, give away bank or Amazon info.

Avoid Bellybuster.com, they are total scammers. They advertise a free cream sample, only asking for £3 postage, but then sneak a £###.### charge on my credit card. I've blocked my card but they’re demanding proof, which I’m now sending over. They claimed to have cancelled my order but said they can’t do refunds online. They told me someone would phone, the number showed up as 0061 or something close, but the screen is fuzzy so I couldn’t be sure. Today, I got a call saying they’d sent the full order, not a sample, and they refuse to return my cash. Really dodgy behaviour.

The gaps between the calls keep changing too, sometimes just a few minutes, other times up to an hour. Honestly, it’s getting a bit ridiculous!
