This morning at about 08.42, I got a call from 005163219815 claiming I could get an £8000 grant from the government. I was pretty sure it was dodgy, but I kept listening until he asked me if I agreed to have the money sent to my bank. Obviously, a scam.

I keep receiving incessant calls from a woman with an accent, insisting on conducting some sort of survey. I informed her that I don’t engage in unsolicited surveys, to which she rather cheekily replied that I'd ultimately relent just to escape her persistent nagging. When I mentioned I was with the police, she promptly hung up. Quite the peculiar encounter!

I told him I wasn’t convinced and refused to give anything. He ended up hanging up, kinda just before I was about to say more.

Got a few calls on our landline from this number, but didn't know who it was so I just let it ring out and go to the answerphone. No message was left though. After looking it up online, I decided to block it straight away.

Received a call from this number earlier today. I mentioned that we're on the Telephone Preference Service and politely requested to be taken off their list. To my surprise, the caller simply said, "No, I won’t do that. I’ll keep ringing you and pestering you." At that point, I decided it was best to end the conversation. What a nuisance!
